"Audio Frequency Analyzer" is a spectrum audio analyzer (RTA) application for the iPhone.
With simple operation, you can measure and evaluate the frequency characteristics of your sound environment in real time.
It is ideal for audio equipment setup, speaker testing, stage acoustics, sound mixing environment evaluation, noise environment investigation, etc. Please use it for various sound scenes.
The latest version supports iOS18.1 and updated UI design.
The measurement function of this application has two measurement modes, 1/3 octave band mode or FFT mode.
1/3 octave band mode
This mode measures and displays the frequency response of an audio signal. The measurement frequency is frequency-divided into 1/3 octave x 30 bands, and the energy average of each frequency band is measured. It is suitable for more quantitative spectrum analysis because it can analyze in a specific frequency band rather than instantaneous frequency peaks.

FFT mode
This mode performs instantaneous FFT analysis at all measured frequencies. It can measure and display instantaneous frequency peak conditions, such as spurious or multi-harmonic cases.

In FFT mode, the slope of the FFT graph can be changed for display by the slope adjustment function. Although it depends on the sound source to be observed, this slope adjustment (3 dB/oct, center frequency 1 kHz) makes the FFT graph display more readable.
